Overcome Blockages with Aquamarine |

Aquamarine is an extremely smooth stone and works with the ability to express what we think and feel, clarifying and positioning ideas, insights and feelings.

She helps us to get out of the whirlpool of emotions, exposing them in the form of words and actions. As the name already says, it has the softness of water to open a free path between the blockages of the Laryngeal Chakra (located at the level of the throat), and can be used when we feel “choked” with some situation or “we swallowed a lot of frogs”.

The stone is also perfect for the expression of creativity, as it establishes communication between the Laryngeal Chakra, also known as the 5th Chakra, and the Sacral Chakra (located below the navel).

Throat Chakra imbalance impairs communication

This Chakra is related to the concepts of self-expression, communication and knowledge. It is linked to the experience of action, that is, to the way we deal and act in each situation. Calms lower instincts (instinctive non-reaction), sharpens value judgments and helps us to relate feelings with thoughts and intuitions.

When balanced, the Throat Chakra empowers the spoken word, promotes true communication, and enables creative expression in speech, writing, and the arts. Aspects such as integration, peace, truth, knowledge, wisdom, loyalty, honesty, trust, kindness and kindness are also highlighted by the 5th Chakra in balance.

On the other hand, the imbalance of this Chakra causes problems in communication and/or speech and favors the excessive and senseless use of knowledge, in addition to bringing ignorance, lack of discernment, deep sadness and difficulty in understanding how the whole works.

Using Stones and Crystals on the Chakras

This is perhaps the oldest way of using stones and crystals. Even today we see remnants of this technique in the form of accessories, such as crowns, tiaras, chokers, necklaces, bracelets, pendants and even the modern “piercings”. The practice consists of placing stones and crystals corresponding to the Chakras on top of them, to energize and balance them.

The choice of the type of stone or crystal to be used is made by relating its “nature” with the characteristics of each Chakra or with what the person is looking for or working on at the moment. Based on this line of thought, you end up opting for more specific crystals for each of the seven main Chakras. The choice and use of these stones also take into account the tradition, energetic harmony, color and symbolism of each one.

Creative Visualization with Aquamarine

Go to a quiet place and get into a comfortable position. Take your Aquamarine and look at it attentively for some time, until you are able to close your eyes and “see” it in all its details. Once you can picture it perfectly, begin to relax physically and mentally with each breath. Breathe deeply and let your thoughts flow, without wanting to erase them or stop them, paying attention only to your breath.

When you reach a reasonable level of mental and physical relaxation, “see” the stone in your mind. Within a count of 1 to 7, imagine it growing to the size of a mountain.

Once you visualize this size, go to the surface of the stone and start exploring it, going around it from the outside. When you find an entrance or path, go through it. See the aquamarine color on the walls and on this path, strolling along it.

Once you feel satisfied with your explorations, return to where you started and count again from 1 to 7, this time visualizing the Aquamarine until it shrinks back to its normal size.

Take a few deep breaths, move gently to return to your initial alertness, and open your eyes. Finally, write down everything you saw, heard or felt during your visualization, to express and clarify the sensations and thoughts experienced.
