New little hand emoji is making the internet talk

You emojis are already known for their ability to represent a huge variety of feelings and meanings. With them, it’s easy to tell you’re laughing or crying. But now, with a new batch of approved Emojisone of them, in particular, is giving the talk.

THE emojipediaa type of encyclopedia that brings together all the emojis created, released more 230 stickers that will be launched by the end of 2019. Among them, some more inclusive ones, such as people in wheelchairpeople doing pound signsarm and leg prostheses and guide dogs.

However, a new hand sticker made Brazilians feel truly represented. The emoji represents a pinching hand, or indicating a small measurement.

Users on Twitter related the new Emoji to different areas of their life, from their salary, to humor, patience and willingness to work. Check out some of the reactions:

There were even those who connected it with Brazilian television and our famous teacher Raimundo (Chico Anysio), the super patient master of Professor Raimundo’s School (Rede Globo, 1957).
