Nanoblading: eyebrow technique beyond microblading –

Perhaps no other part of the face has gone through so many different fashions as quickly as the eyebrows. It might change the way we paint our mouths, but full lips have always been in fashion; eye shadows may have new trends but the goal is always to make them look bigger or more lifted.

With eyebrow it’s different. The idea of what a beautiful eyebrow is changes from year to year. Sometimes it’s when it’s thick and full, with nothing “out of place”; sometimes it’s when it’s natural and brushed up, with the strands themselves showing (not all together in one block)…

Of course, aesthetic procedures follow these changes, producing different technologies at each stage.

“Nanoblading” is the latest method to get “I woke up like this” eyebrows: it uses ultra-thin needles for even more natural results.

WHAT IS NANOBLANDING

Similar to microblading, nanoblading is a form of eyebrow tattooing that uses only one very fine needle (as opposed to microblading, which uses several) to place semi-permanent pigment under the skin, approximating the appearance of real eyebrow hairs.

The big differential is the ultrafine and clear hairs on the skin, giving the impression that they were implanted in the eyebrows. “The result is very real, different from the microblading tattoo-like eyebrow”, he says. Natalia Martins, CEO of the Natalia Beauty Group. “The service perfectly simulates the client’s real thread, maintaining the color, texture and design. The result is surprising and gives more strength and personality to the look”, she comments.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE

The new technique, semi-permanent, lasts for an average of 8 months and, if you don’t like the result, it allows you to change the style of your eyebrow without leaving any traces. Different from micropigmentation, in which it is necessary to completely remove hair with a tattoo remover laser. “With the NanoBlading we can have more messy, well-behaved, voluminous or straight strands, but always keeping the client’s naturalness and essence”, explains Natalia.

IT HURTS?

The technique can be mildly uncomfortable, but it is rarely considered painful or unbearable.

After the procedure, there is a little redness and swelling that should subside within a day or two.

LONG TERM EFFECTS

Nanoblading comes with some of the same side effects as microblading: the color can degrade over time, so touch-ups are occasionally necessary.
