Meme-famous hairdresser explains why she didn’t move in with her ex

Remember Cleusa Cruz, the hairdresser who became famous after her statement about the separation process went viral on the internet? She explained why she decided not to “invade” her ex-husband’s home as she had promised.

A resident of Rio de Janeiro, Cleusa fights in court to separate from her ex-husband. According to the hairdresser, the two have not lived together for 25 years, but the ex refuses to sign the divorce papers.

In the third attempt to sign the divorce papers, the man, who has been living with another woman and children for 24 years, did not show up at the registry office on the agreed day and that’s when the internet went viral.

The solution found by Cleusa, as she said in a post on Facebook, was to move in with her ex and his wife if the divorce did not happen by May 19. “Do you want to be married? So let’s get married. I will sleep with you, eat with you. And more: it will pay my bills.”

Day 19 finally arrived, but the change did not happen. Again on Facebook, Cleusa explained why she decided not to move to her ex’s house.

“I know that you all want me to enter Denilson’s house. Guys, I have to be fair. I said that if the divorce is not finalized by the 19th, I would go with my suitcase and take care of them to their house. But I need to understand that the registry office is not open on Sundays. How am I going to get him to sign the paper on Sunday? I will never affront his house like that.
