Learn a prayer for balance

Are you a balanced person or are you always changing your mood or opinion? People who have mood swings or daily decisions pass on an air of insecurity and even emotional imbalance to the people around them. It interferes with personal and professional relationships.

The main balance that people should seek is the middle way between reason and emotion. No one should be fully rational, nor fully emotional, in their decisions, thoughts and attitudes.

The search for personal balance is something private. There are many rules, ways and teachings. But, each person must test, experiment and find their way of balance. One of the ways of balance is to indoctrinate the mind and thoughts. To help, below are two Prayers for Balance. One of them is from Nossa Senhora do Equilíbrio. Remember that faith moves mountains and balances.

I am balance.
I am the force emanating from God.
Of this battle-winning god.
A god of peace.
The protector god of family and happiness.
I am light and balance.
Nobody can with me.
Because God made his home in my being.
My internal commands my unconscious,
May the strength I possess awaken in me.
I deserve, I want and I will be happy.
I’m the light.
I send light to those who wish me harm.
This light comes from the love of God.
Around me is a circle of light.
That shines brightly!

Prayer of Our Lady of Equilibrium
Virgin Mother of God and of men, MARY. We ask you for the gift of Christian balance, so necessary today for the Church and the world. Deliver us from all evil; save us from selfishness, discouragement, pride, presumptuousness and hardness of heart. Give us tenacity in effort, calm in failure, humility in successful success. I opened our hearts to holiness. Make that through purity of heart, simplicity and love for the truth, we can know our limitations. Obtain for us the grace to understand and live the word of God. Grant that, through Prayer, Love and Fidelity to the Church in the person of the Supreme Pontiff¿, we may live in fraternal communion with all the members of the People of God, Hierarchy and faithful. Awaken in us a deep feeling of solidarity between brothers, so that we can live, with Balance, our Faith, in the Hope of eternal salvation. Our Lady of Equilibrium, to you we consecrate ourselves, trusting in the tenderness of your maternal protection.

Divine Holy Spirit, who gave Mary all emotional and physical balance, give us the grace to abandon in you our feelings and emotions, desires and aspirations, to love God above all and not want anything that harms me or keeps me away from Your will. Give us the grace of patience in delays, of discernment to look for the right people to help us, of healing our emotional wounds caused by the lack of true love and wrong choices. We want to leave at the feet of the one who can transform and balance everything: “Entrust all your worries to him, because he cares for you”. (I Peter 5:7).
