In addition to ‘like’: Facebook creates six more buttons to comment on status

It’s not yet the turn of the dreamed “dislike” button, but Facebook announced today (8) that it is testing a new feature in place of our old well-known thumbs up.

The new feature is called “Reactions” and will be tested first in Spain and Ireland. The idea is that, in addition to liking, you can choose from six other possible reactions, each illustrated by an emoji.

In English, the emojis gained the following names: “Love” (love), “Haha”, “Yay” (something like “yay!”), “Wow” (wow), “Sad” (sad) and “Angry” (angry). I mean, you won’t be able to put your thumb down and say you didn’t like your friend’s text, but you can get pretty mad.

The news still does not have a date to reach our Facebooks, but Mark Zuckerberg shared a video presenting the emojis.
