If the other person doesn’t bring up the subject with me, does that mean disinterest in the relationship?

Share:

Almost always, all you have to do is look for the person you like. But sometimes, she might not have noticed you yet or yet feel very insecure. So, it seems like only you care and make a point of bringing it up, don’t you?!

This is bad?

Depends on how uncomfortable you are or how frustrated your expectations are. And how long have you been living like this? Suddenly, the other person just needs a little more security to also feel comfortable making contact.

In that case, what to do?

Find a way to talk to her without seeming obvious that you’re interested. Thus, you can see to what extent she corresponds, is motivated or active in your relationship.

Different ways to approach

1- Make a review

“How boring is that!” or, “How impressive!” One of the best ways to start an unassuming conversation with someone is by using the circumstances around you. That way, you won’t look like you’re making small talk about her, you, or you. Look carefree and uninterested.

2- Put the other person in the tight skirt

“Can I sit here?”, “Go along or accompany you?”. This is something we hear all the time, whether on the bus, on the train or even at the airport. Use this same approach when you want to sit next to the person you care about.

But once you ask the question, use your most sincere smile to let her know that you are a warm and approachable person.

3- Ask for help

Next time, instead of just making small talk, ask for a favor. Making someone feel useful can definitely make them think it’s their lucky day!

It could be a grocery bag, a car breakdown, or even some help picking up something that accidentally dropped on the floor. As long as you’re going to thank him/her with your beautiful smile, he/she will definitely stay to continue the conversation.

4- Snob him/her

Say something like, “Oops, I’m sorry, I called/typed wrong. I thought it was someone else…” Retract the misunderstanding, and then ask him for some help using any of the approaches above.

5- Make some alert

“I wouldn’t do that if I were you.” This is a perfect conversation to use when you find yourself in a situation you’re already familiar with. Is he/she about to do something he/she might later regret? Improvise a “buddy” advice.
