Gel nail polish is becoming a trend among Brazilian women. Although its application takes around an hour and a half, it lasts much longer than regular nail polish.
On average, gel polish lasts 15 to 20 days on nails without peeling or losing shine. So you can spend more time without going to the manicure.
In addition, because it is made in several layers, the nail is more resistant, with less risk of breaking.
The downside of gel nail polish, however, is that it is much more difficult to remove compared to regular nail polish. Even beauty salons and manicures usually charge for this service.

3. Moisten a piece of cotton in nail polish remover and place it on the nail.
4. Wrap the nails and cotton with aluminum foil (shiny side inside) and wait 7 to 10 minutes
5. Pull the foil up to check if the enamel has softened. If it’s still hard, replace the aluminum foil and cotton
6. With the enamel already softened, scrape the enamel with the aid of a wooden toothpick
7. Take care of your nails after removing them
The nail polish remover and the gel nail polish itself are factors that can weaken your nails and make your skin drier, so it’s important to invest in a good cuticle moisturizer and special products for this region of the body.
It is also recommended to protect your hands from the action of household chemicals, such as bleach, disinfectants and other cleaning products. To avoid aggression, try to use gloves to perform household chores.
Another important tip is to avoid using acetone, which dries out the nail and the skin around it. Give preference to nail polish removers that do not contain this substance in their formula.
