Who never felt lazy, right? The warning sign appears when, frequently, you find yourself thinking: “I’m too lazy, I have to study”, or “I wish I never had to work again”.

Starting the day at that frequency, however, is not good. It may seem difficult, but it is possible to reverse this situation.

Where does discouragement come from?

Discouragement is the brother of laziness. It’s normal to feel discouraged at times. But if this has been a frequent state for you, ask yourself: do you feel pleasure in carrying out your activities?

If the answer is no, you will have to find pleasure somehow. After all, what would be the antidote to discouragement if not pleasure?

However, it may not be possible right now for you to simply change jobs, partners or situations for whatever reason. What to do in these cases?

Pleasure in everyday life so as not to feel discouraged

To get out of a state of despondency, your Energy Center needs sources of pleasure. Make a pact with yourself to generate pleasurable sensations.

What is discouragement?

When you realize yourself discouraged, stop, breathe and observe your feelings: what are you feeling? Where is this feeling coming from? What are you thinking that is generating this discouragement?

Discouragement is a victimization that often engulfs us. In the most difficult moments, redouble your attention to your feelings, inner fantasies and thoughts.

It is the thought that creates discouragement. By understanding this, you become capable of changing, re-signifying everyday situations: using a soap you like, cooking something that gives you pleasure, or any other attitude.

Even if it’s a small gesture, start committing to your own pleasure.

Your problems won’t go away, but you will look at them in a softer and more determined way.
