How To Cleanse and Energize Stones and Crystals |

Stones and crystals can be used for different purposes: activation, cleaning or balancing of the chakras, meditation or also for harmonizing the mental, physical and emotional fields.

To achieve goals efficiently, you need to keep stones and crystals clean and energized. Only then will it be possible to use them to deal with a problem or situation, improve the quality of life and raise awareness.

The process of cleaning and energizing the stones keeps their frequency resonating in us and the environment with greater stability and clarity. But how to clean and energize stones and crystals in the best way?

There are three essential procedures: physical cleaning, energy cleaning and energizing. Some stones and crystals can go in water, others cannot. Those that cannot are those that have a low degree of hardness and dissolve, or the most porous, such as sulfur, azurite, calcantite, selenite, among others.

How to clean stones and crystals

Physical cleaning is nothing more than washing with water and some asepsis product. As some stones dissolve in water, imagine if, in addition, a cleaning product is used?

Stones that cannot go in water: clean with dry cotton cloth or brush/brush to remove dust.

Stones that can be wet: clean with water and mild soap.

How to energize from stones and crystals

Energy cleansing can be done with water or dry. With water, it can be performed in the rain, in running water, with water and sea salt, in the waterfall, in the river or in the sea. Attention: take extra care when washing in nature, placing the stones and crystals in a cotton bag to avoid the risk of losing them.

Energy cleaning in a dry way can be done with the stones on a drusen (formation of crystal groups) or selenite (stone).

Energizing stones and crystals

Energizing stones and crystals can be done by sunlight, moonlight, fire, earth, storm, rain, waterfall or sea. The best form of energizing depends on the type of energy most conducive to the stone or the work that will be developed with it.

To deal with apathy, for example, we can imagine – by association of ideas – that it would be appropriate to place the stone next to the fire. If this is not possible or not necessary, place it in the sun for a few hours to absorb light.

For greater receptivity, it is appropriate to use the light of the moon, a symbol of the feminine/receptive. If, in turn, the search is for anchoring, nothing better than land.

Through these associations, together with the knowledge of the stones, the work becomes more efficient and adequate to the needs of each person.

How often should we clean and energize stones and crystals?

It depends on how much we use the stones and crystals. In general, cleaning two to three times a month is recommended. It’s important to note that if at any point you feel you need to clean or energize the stones, it’s probably because the procedure is really necessary.
