He who has magic does not need tricks

The more people we know, the more we are aware that people who know how to carry the ‘genius’ within do not need anything to reach others: John Lennon had magic in everything he did, Dalí didn’t need a single trick to paint what he wanted and Charles Chaplin didn’t even have to speak to win over half the world.

I don’t want to say that we are all these talents that history has given us, what I mean is that The best way we can make ourselves known is to know what we are and show ourselves as we are.: without filters, without masks, without superficiality; because He who has magic does not need tricks.

Be natural, neither imperfect nor perfect

The other day I was reading a post on social media by Michelle Jenner about the supposed perfection that is unconsciously demanded of us and that, many times, we also demand of ourselves. We shave, we spend hours thinking about our clothes, we put on makeup and we look at ourselves 100 times in the mirror: as if trying to find what we are not, deep down.

Then we go out and think that what others see in us is what’s important, so we strive to ‘measure up’. However, we are neither imperfect nor perfect: Our essence is what unites us with others, the cause of the complicities and differences between us.

For this reason, Naturalness and honesty is the behavior that will make us enjoy what we experience the most and that will help us have more lasting and deeper relationships.: for example, defects are unmasked soon, so it is better to love them from the beginning.

She’s crazy, but she’s magical

Surely you have heard this previous phrase before and what perhaps you didn’t know is that another genius, Bukowski, said it. There is no lie in your fire he added. What I came to convey was what we have already mentioned above: People who give themselves to others, without thinking about the way they do it, are true and we like them.

Bukowski’s ‘madwoman’ is one who delivers herself faithfully and without distortions of any kind. It is the one who understands that the most real results in his life will be found in the simplicity of someone who knows what he feels and how he wants to feel it.

In this sense, why do we like the spontaneity of children? Because they are able to put their heart and soul into everything they do, they usually build their friendships without prejudice, they are innocent and they are surprised many more times than adults. Furthermore, they do not understand the meaning of ridicule and, above all, they are sincere.

There are those who become magic, although they never know it.

When Vanesa Martín mentioned this at her concert I was reminded of those friends who give everything so that we grow as people and never become paralyzed. At that moment all those moments came to mind the ones that others save us without being aware of the importance of what they are doing for us.

The simplicity and magic of those who give what they have without seeking anything in return is what is truly worth having by your side, More than the false appearances that are synonymous with failure: we have all discovered something about an important person at some point that has completely surprised us.

For all these reasons it is enriching that we surround ourselves with those who know that they can be magic and they are, those who do not need tricks to show themselves to others. So, It is not by chance that they say that the best of selfless and reciprocal relationships is not knowing who is lucky enough to know whom and this can only happen with sincerity involved.
