Who said that a children’s party must necessarily be decorated in pastel tones? Despite being among the preferred by parents of young children, soft tones are not the only options to compose the color palette of children’s celebrations.
Intense tones, such as pink, can set the tone for breathtaking delicate decorations.
Based on this idea, singer Barbara Amorim and businessman Marcio Ponço opted for a vibrant yet delicate decor to celebrate their daughter Luisa’s first birthday.
The most classic color combination of all (black and white) gained an extra charm with touches of pink and gold.
“The whole party was designed to be a very intimate moment with friends and family who actively participated in Luisa’s first year. I expected a special afternoon, with lots of love, fellowship, laughter and a modern, chic decor, but with good value for money. The proposal was to do something delicate, with a very feminine and modern touch, without taking away the sweetness of a children’s party”, explained the mother.
On the rise, the flamingos were chosen as the theme for the party thanks to their delicacy and mystery. To complement the romanticism of the visual proposal, the decorator chose to include feathers and many pieces in glitter.
Elidelte do Vale, decorator and confectioner responsible for the production, points out that a trained eye is needed to work with black in the composition of children’s scenery. This is because if the production is not balanced with playful pieces, the end result will be too austere. “I confess that I was initially a little reluctant about choosing the palette, as I believe it is a very adult color combination. I was careful to make the look fluffier. For this, I used resources such as felt pieces, the deconstructed balloon arch and the composition with a mini table”, explained Elidelte, who runs Doovale Eventos.
