Find what you love and let it kill you

The mind corrupts love, thinking about what love entails makes it a problem. We need to attribute intellectual meaning to it. But finding what you love goes far beyond understanding through reason.. I invite you to feel it, live it and experience it.

Our thoughts are responsible for making everything that is beautiful and sublime a problem., we complicate our existence through control and trying to give meaning to everything. We look for convenience, comfort, security and stability; and we get lost in that meaningless search, which does not allow us to see and accept life as it is.

We live in fear of losing what we believe is ours., we live in fear, believing that we can avoid pain; not feel the old wounds. And we have the illusion that we will be able to escape suffering, when the only thing we achieve is to escape from ourselves.

“I realize that if I were stable, prudent and static I would live in death. Therefore, I accept confusion, uncertainty, fear, and emotional ups and downs, because that is the price I am willing to pay for a fluid, perplexing, and exciting life.”

-C. Rogers-

Life is a gift

What you love is found everywhere, there is no need to go searching for it. Love arises when we have the courage to put aside our mental attitudes that deteriorate everything we observe.. Being able to admire things as they are, without constantly trying to explain them.

We have the ability to be amazed and admired by the beauty of people, art, nature, ideas, attitudes, smells, flavors, caresses, words… Contemplating and feeling beauty means calming our mind and opening ourselves to sensations.. Experience through our senses and not through our reasoning.

Experiencing passion for what you love

In our lives all people have experienced this innocent beauty, In our childhood we were carriers of the most valuable secrets of our existence.: the ability to be amazed, to admire everything that surrounds us, and the enthusiasm to explore and experiment. Being able to observe without intervening.

In adulthood, our entire essential repertoire with which we began to learn to love life deteriorates. There are many mental barriers that we have been creating, and We put many obstacles in the way of discovering what we love..

“In passion there is no demand, that is why there is no struggle; In passion there is not the slightest intention to fulfill itself, therefore, there is no frustration or pain whatsoever. Passion is freedom of the “I”…, consequently, passion is the essence of life, passion is that thing that moves and lives, but if thought intervenes with all the problems of achievement and possession, then passion ceases.”

-Krishnamurti-

What is happening is the best that could happen

There is a saying from Zen Buddhism whose essence is that “What is happening is the best that could happen”. Accepting what happens is an act of love with life and with ourselves. Acceptance as an act of taking into account everything that happens and making decisions is the best way to be coordinated with life. However, if we interact with reality through our conditioning, we will not completely flow.

Acceptance is not a state of passivity. The motto of acceptance is not, “That whatever has to happen”. Rather it could be defined as “This is what happened, now I’ll see what I do”. For it It is essential to know that there are two types of events: those that we can control and those that we cannot.. Those that we cannot control, there is no point in worrying, they take away too much energy from us. On the other hand, those that we can control, we control.
