The historical significance of planets and asteroids

Historically, the discovery and recognition of planetary bodies in space coincided with significant cultural shifts, which led to evolutionary leaps in our consciousness. The planets Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are great examples.

Soon after the discovery of Uranus (planet associated with freedom), in 1781, humanity witnessed the American and French revolutions. When the planet of mysticism and illusion, Neptune, was discovered in 1846, movements like transcendentalism and spiritualism emerged in different parts of the world.

When the planet of mass transformation – and extinction – was discovered, Pluto, in 1930, the atomic bombs put society face to face with the reality that a simple push of buttons could represent the difference between life and death. And the same is happening with asteroids.

Asteroids form a belt of celestial bodies that orbit mostly between Mars It is Jupiterand were discovered in the early 1800s.

They represent a leap in consciousness not only because they incorporate new archetypes into our consciousness, but because they make a bridge in the sky between personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars) and the transpersonal planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto).

The first four asteroids discovered were Vesta, Pallas, Ceres and Juno. Mythologically, these goddesses are equivalent in value to the gods Jupiter, Neptune and Pluto.

Vesta, Ceres and Juno were the three sisters of Jupiter, Neptune and Pluto, all born of the union between the god Saturn and Rhea. Pallas Athena, Jupiter’s favorite daughter, was conceived by himself and birthed by him from her head.

Feminine energy in the Astral Map

Society is changing. The role of women and the strength of the feminine are being questioned, revolutionized and socially transformed.

We are on the way to Age of Aquarius (understand about the topic here) and, until then, a lot of water will flow under this bridge. But relying only on the archetypes of the Moon and Venus to understand the strength and role of the feminine principle in a natal chart today is too little!
