Love is the most important goal in different age groups and societies. His presence is the essential factor in assessing whether people who think they are in love should marry or not. Plato and other Greek philosophers took the subject so seriously that they regarded love as a god: “Of all the gods, love is the most august, the most capable of making man virtuous and happy during life. Eros is to be praised.” and praised as a god deserves”.

Some say they are tired of the pitfalls that occur in relationships and wonder if love really exists. Of course, it is part of human nature, regardless of our opinion. Nor is it linked to society’s fads or the result of an artifact built by men.

Many did not learn in childhood to value what is sacred. Thus, nothing deserves to be revered and honored and, when growing up, everything is reduced to conquest, where only physical possession is desired through sex.

Humans view sex as a form of conquest, especially at this time of year, which prevents a bond of deeper intimacy. Therefore, that feeling of betrayal is in the air at all times, in an imaginary way, and in many cases, real.

The soulmate relationship does not only emphasize sexuality, but puts it in a second moment, as sex is also very important.

As long as this tendency to sexualize relationships exists, love will remain superficial. The right thing would be to spiritualize the relationship so that the essence is inexhaustible, because it awakens the best in us.

What are the components to knowing if I’m dating my soulmate?

1) Affinity: consists of dialogue, exchange of ideas, doubts exposed and discussed, similarity in the way of thinking, mutually shared secrets and anxieties.

2) Trust: when both deliver what they promise, they don’t lie and are the same outside the relationship. It is a virtue that must be respected.

3) Acquaintance: the couple says to friends “I’m sure I know who I live with”.

4) Humility (includes generosity and peace): use time – which is so precious – to listen to what the other has to say. To pacify a love relationship in the face of conflict is a sublime act; this is to have humility, the great asset to keep the union in peace.

5) Wisdom: the protector of love. It is the indicator of common sense, prudence and the art of living well. Capable of ensuring happiness and, therefore, it is called the “source of life”.
