About 20-somethings, responsibilities and loves

Share:

It’s easy to remember that when we were kids we really wanted to grow up, and here we are, in the long awaited ”growing up” in our early 20s, full of frustrated dreams, sleepless nights due to college, work, frustrated relationships and the worst thing is that everything appears at once, until yesterday we could sleep with the only concern of waking up and deciding what clothes to wear… Oh how I miss that time!

Our life is made up of cycles, being a kid and wanting to be an adult, being a teenager and wanting to be an adult, going to college and then wanting to be a kid again.

There are days when life gets tired, and deep down we just want someone to sit next to us and say that everything will be fine, even if everything is likely to go wrong and believe me, it will and the worst thing is to be alone even with someone on your side, emptiness does not come from outside but from within.

In these contemporary relationships where the rule is to be free and detached, where the sexual need is satisfied, while the emotional is accumulated and our emptiness is internal, as well as our nervous gastritis acquired by our thoughts where we are forced to have a balanced life, a stable relationship, plans that will materialize, a good job, a degree…

I’m tired of it all, tired of being in my 20s and a burden on what I must do to be successful, I’m tired of empty relationships, tired of having to cry alone and smile in a group on the street.
