5 types of fat that don’t make you fat –

When it comes to diet, several myths and truths come to our ears, don’t they? And we, who just want to reduce the size of the mannequin and be healthier, are confused by so much information. One of those myths is that any type of fat will make you fat. It was born because, from a caloric point of view, fats are richer than other foods: a gram of fat has 9 calories, while carbohydrates and proteins have 4 calories in the same measure. However, you don’t need to restrict every type of fat in your diet. The good, unsaturated ones have important vitamins for the functioning of the body such as A, D, E and K, and their intake helps with well-being, promotes weight loss, among other benefits!

1. Coconut oil

Many people believe that coconut oil is not a good option because of the bad reputation of saturated fat. This fat, when it is of animal origin, is really not recommended. But the saturated fat present in coconut oil is used as energy and is not harmful to health. And yet: some scientific studies say that oil consumption improves the functioning of the thyroid gland and, with that, stimulates metabolism and helps burn fat.

2. oilseeds

Research, conducted in 2009, suggests that consuming a handful of any kind (such as walnuts and Brazil nuts) three times a week reduces the risk of weight gain and obesity. In addition to helping reduce measures, oilseeds have good fats, proteins and nutrients.

3. Avocado

Fruit helps to lose weight, reduces cortisol (stress hormone, which makes you fat), slows down the aging process, improves the immune system and also reduces the likelihood of heart disease and stroke.

4. Seeds

They can also (and should!) be included in our diet. The best ones are chia, pumpkin, linseed and sunflower, which are extremely rich in nutrients, fiber, magnesium, copper and more. Extra tip: seeds still help with the digestive process!

5. Olive oil

Olive oil is surprisingly healthy! It helps in lowering blood pressure and weight gain, controlling diabetes and preventing cancer.
