10 tricks to wake up your body after a sleepless night –

Crying baby, neighbor’s party or even the famous insomnia… If you’ve suffered from any of these situations, you know how difficult it is not to sleep well. But do not worry! We’ve separated some tricks that will ensure that lack of sleep doesn’t ruin your day – or week!

1. Avoid cell phone snooze
This task can be very difficult, but you have to be strong. When you hit the snooze button, you’re just postponing an inevitable situation: waking up. In addition, the extra minutes of sleep only increase your fatigue.

2. Let the sunlight in
When exposed to sunlight, your body decreases the production of melatonin (the hormone that induces sleep) and receives the signal that it’s time to wake up.

3. Take a cold shower
Calm down, the idea is not to freeze first thing in the morning. The trick is to shower as you normally would and, minutes before getting out, run the water cold for 30 seconds. Then, heat up the temperature and stay under the shower for another 30 seconds. Heat shock increases blood flow and provides a “feel” of stimulation in the body.

4. Exercise!
If you don’t work out in the morning, make a small change to your routine. On days when you’re tired, exercise promotes blood circulation, which increases your alertness.

5. Use makeup to your advantage
Leaving the house looking sleepy? Nobody deserve! Therefore, the tip is to abuse makeup to disguise the poorly slept night. And for those hours, concealer is our best friend, right?

6. Go for coffee
Caffeine also stimulates the hormone cortisol and adrenaline, which keep you alert. So if sleep wasn’t good, a cup of coffee can help.

7. Be careful with food
When you are tired, your body tends to look for energy in food. So that chocolate (full of sugar) looks more appetizing than the salad. The trick here is to keep an eye on your diet and bet on lean proteins and whole foods.

8. Hydration, now!
You already know that drinking water every day is important for your health. And it’s no different on days when you’re tired. Want a golden trick? Put ice in the water. Cold drinks are more refreshing and have the power to keep our body always alert.

9. Did you feel sleepy? go for a walk
When tiredness hits, the tip is to bet on the walk. Keeping your body moving is a great way to ward off laziness. If you’re at work, go get some water.

10. Create an animated playlist
Are you from the class that works listening to music? Make a selection well animated to increase your energy and avoid peaks of tiredness.
