10 qualities to look for in a man

I’m not a fan of those lists where you list the qualities you want in a guy. That set of ideas that describe the perfect man, that you put on a piece of paper waiting for the universe to bring him to you.
Yes, I once made a list like that, I’m sure you did too, at least in your mind. But the problem with those lists is that they are pure fantasy, because no one can be that incredible; Or are they just a reflection of the person we want to be.

But don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying you have to forget what you want to be with a man. However, perhaps it is time to look at what is really important. So I invite you to see a list of real qualities that a man who deserves our heart should have. In the end, eye and hair color are negotiable, but character is not.

Be empathetic

Here is a simple definition of empathy: The ability to identify with the feelings and thoughts of another human being. Unfortunately, many people, men and women, lack this characteristic. It will take you little time to realize if the boy in question has this trait; If he seeks to understand you, it is an excellent sign.

Have a sense of humor

You don’t have to be the king either.comedy, but a man must be able to see the funny side of life. Being able to joke with you, always with a good intention, creates a special bond and you will know that he will put his best attitude forward before life’s inevitable setbacks. But don’t forget that he should laugh with you and not at you.

May it have integrity

A good man always keeps his word. His “yes” means “yes” and his “no” means “no.” A guy with integrity protects his reputation and if he says he will do something, he will follow through. The simplest integrity test? Did he call you when he said he would? Paying attention to what he says is very important, but what he does is actually twice as valuable.

Be respectful

A man who respects you will do his best to be a gentleman around you. He will mind his manners and won’t push you to do anything you feel uncomfortable with. People treat us the way we expect to be treated. If we respect and value ourselves, our boy will too.

That he is willing to give

When a man is crazy about a woman, he will do everything in his power to make her happy. A good guy wants to give you his time, his energy, and yes, even his money, simply because he enjoys seeing you happy and your company is something very precious to him. If he is selfish about any of these things, then he is not willing to give. If he is not able to share time, energy and money to go to the movies on Saturday, how do you expect him to share his friendship, his love and his support.

They do not allow others to manage them and define their limits very well. They are not willing to compromise their ideals or their ideas for anything. A strong man is not a bully. He remembers that anger and controlling behavior are signs of weakness, not strength.

Let him be loyal

Loyalty has to do with more than just not cheating on you. A loyal man is sincere and honest with everyone in his life. If he behaves suspiciously around other people, you can swear that he will treat you the same way.

A good man wants a good woman by his side. He hopes her girl believes in him, because he believes in her. A good guy will support you in your work, friendships, dreams, and everything that is important to you. If a man tries to crush you or minimize you, he is definitely not willing to encourage you.

It is not so important how much money you earn, but rather how you are doing in your career path. A man who does not work is always “between jobs”, or has a terrible record regarding work. A real man wants to work for the satisfaction of growing in that area.

Have control of yourself

You can’t have a mature relationship with a man who isn’t mature. When a child lacks self-control he is nothing more than a child in the body of an adult. Men live responsibly and think about the future. Kids who party can be fun for a while, but it doesn’t last forever.
