Starbucks is the ultimate place to work away from home. They have somewhere to connect, good internet and large tables where you can sit with your laptop when the march prevents you from getting to work. The problem is that it is not like the coffee shops where you can refill your 20 peso cup as many times as necessary. But with these tips you will get more for your money.
Order a French press
Did you know that you can order one to share or have it alone? If you are going to spend six hours at Starbucks, it is best for you because it serves several cups and is cheaper than buying each one individually.

Buy your bag of coffee
Did you know that you can buy your bag of coffee and ask them to store it for you at Starbucks so that they can prepare your drink every day? They put your name on it and they prepare your coffee right away. This is useful for people who go to the same branch every day.

Ask for milk instead of latte
You can order a latte (and pay for it at that price) or you can order a coffee of the day with some cold milk. It doesn’t taste exactly the same but it’s much cheaper and you can apply it to all drinks. For example, you can buy a chai tea (from a bag, which also tastes better and is less sweet) and add milk to it (try coconut milk, you have to pay for it but it tastes delicious) and it will be cheaper than a Chai Latte.

Ice cream instead of frappe
If you order frappĂ© because you are hot, you can save some pesos by ordering cold coffee. It’s like an Americano with ice (to which you can ask for milk to be added) but, in addition to being cheaper, you can add vanilla syrup (or any other) to give it more flavor without paying so much extra.

Refill
You need to have a Starbucks Rewards card for this, but with it you can request a refill of your coffee for the day (you have 3 hours from when you bought the first cup to request it). If you are working there or if your office is very close, it is like having 2×1.
