10 Oatmeal Bread Recipes for a Healthier Diet

Bread is a food that is part of the routine, as it appears at breakfast, snacks and dinner. A good idea is to replace the white version with oat bread, considered healthier. How about doing it at home? See the recipes and choose your favorite:

1. Simple oat bread

Ingredients

  • 20 g of rolled oats
  • 1 clear
  • salt to taste

Preparation mode

  1. In a bowl, mix the 3 ingredients;
  2. Pour the dough into a microwave-safe container;
  3. Place in microwave for 2 minutes;
  4. Wait for it to cool down;
  5. Divide into two slices;
  6. Place on the grill to brown and enjoy.

2. Oatmeal bread in the skillet

Ingredients

  • Oil for greasing the skillet
  • 1 tablespoon of sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup oat flour
  • 1/4 cup sweet cornmeal
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon of chia seeds
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons of water
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

Preparation mode

  1. Grease a frying pan with oil and add the sunflower seeds;
  2. In a bowl, mix the oatmeal, flour, salt and chia;
  3. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the egg and water;
  4. Stir until smooth;
  5. Add the yeast and mix quickly;
  6. Transfer the dough to the skillet;

3. Oatmeal bread with cheese in the skillet

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons of oatmeal
  • 1 egg
  • 50 ml of water
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • shredded mozzarella to taste

Preparation mode

  1. In a bowl, mix the oatmeal, egg and salt;
  2. Add water, yeast and grated mozzarella;
  3. Pour the dough into a greased skillet;
  4. Cover and cook on low heat;
  5. After about 10 minutes, turn the bread over;
  6. Let the bottom brown and serve.

4. Frying pan stuffed oat bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of oat flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 coffee spoon of baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons of water

  2. Stir well and add the yeast and salt;
  3. Microwave for 2 minutes;

6. Oatmeal bread with honey

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 and ½ cups of warm water
  • 2 cups of oat flour
  • 1 cup of oat bran
  • 1 tablespoon of organic yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Preparation mode

  1. In a container, mix the olive oil and honey;
  2. Add the warm water, stir well and set aside;
  3. In a bowl, mix the flour, bran and yeast;
  4. Mix the dry ingredients well and add the salt;
  5. Add half of the reserved liquid mixture;
  6. When mixing well, add the rest of the liquid mixture;
  7. Line a shape with parchment paper;
  8. Spread the dough on it;
  9. Cover with a cloth and wait 30 minutes;
  10. Bake in medium oven for about 40 minutes;
  11. The bread will be ready to serve.

7. Gluten-free oat bread

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of oat flour
  • 1 cup sweet cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon instant dry yeast
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 cup of warm water

Preparation mode

  1. In a bowl add the oatmeal and the sweet sprinkle;
  2. Add the dry yeast and salt;
  3. Add the oil and honey;
  4. Gradually add the warm water, but reserve 1/3 of it;
  5. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes;
  6. Add the rest of the water;
  7. Transfer the dough to a silicone mold;
  8. Level with wet hands, gently squeezing the dough;
  9. Let the dough rest for 15 minutes;
  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.

8. Oatmeal bread with sour cream

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of sour cream
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame
  • 1 tablespoon of chestnuts

Preparation mode

  1. Beat the eggs;
  2. Add salt, oil and cream;
  3. Beat everything again;
  4. Add the rolled oats and let the dough rest for 20 minutes;
  5. Add the yeast, sesame and chestnuts;
  6. Grease a shape and pour the dough into it;
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 25 minutes;
  8. Wait for it to cool down and enjoy!

9. Xanthan Gum Oat Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 sachet of organic yeast
  • 2 tablespoons demerara sugar
  • 1/2 cup of warm water
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 50 g of oat flakes
  • 55 g of rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup sweet cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon xanthan gum

Preparation mode

  1. In a bowl, place the yeast, sugar and water;
  2. Cover and let it ferment for 15 minutes;
  3. Add the beaten egg, salt, olive oil, oats in fine flakes and stir;
  4. Add the oats in thick flakes and the sweet sprinkle;
  5. Mix well and add the xanthan gum;
  6. Spread the dough in a greased shape;
  7. Sprinkle oatmeal on top;
  8. Let the dough rest for 35 minutes;
  9. Bake in oven at 180 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.

10. Whole oat bread

Ingredients

  • 2 cups oat flakes
  • 1 cup sweet cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon instant dry yeast
  • 1/4 teaspoon xanthan gum
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup of warm water
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/3 cup seed and nut mix

Preparation mode

  1. Add the oats, flour, sugar, yeast and xanthan gum in a bowl;
  2. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the egg and warm water gradually;
  3. Finish with the salt and the mix of seeds and chestnuts;
  4. Transfer the dough to a greased form;
  5. Let it rest for about 45 minutes;
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes;
  7. Remove from the oven and wait 5 minutes;
  8. Unmold and let cool on paper towel;
  9. Cut into slices and serve.
