10 Mexican food recipes for a muy caliente night

Ingredients

  • 250 g of wheat flour
  • 1/3 tablespoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup of warm water
  • 2 and ½ tablespoons of vegetable oil

Preparation mode

  1. In a bowl add the flour and salt;
  2. Add warm water and vegetable oil;
  3. Mix with a spoon, with circular movements in the center of the bowl;
  4. When you can no longer mix with the spoon, use your hands;
  5. Knead gently until it no longer sticks to your hands;
  6. Form a ball and cover the dough with a damp cloth;
  7. Let it rest for 30 to 60 minutes;
  8. Remove the dough from the bowl and place it on a bench;
  9. Divide the dough into 8 pieces, like a pizza;
  10. Form a ball with each part;
  11. Let it rest for 15 to 30 minutes;
  12. Knead the ball until you get a disk and stretch it out with a rolling pin;
  13. The discs must be very thin;
  14. Place the dough on a frying pan and wait for it to be full of bubbles;

Preparation mode

  1. Put some oil in a pan and wait for it to heat up;

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of red beans

  • 4 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 1 cup chopped red and yellow peppers
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon dehydrated oregano
  • 1 cup of tomato paste
  • 1 pinch of sugar
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3 tablespoons of mustard
  • 1 cup chopped chives
  • Black pepper to taste

Preparation mode

  1. Place the red beans in a bowl of water and soak for 12 hours;
  2. Do the same with the black beans;
  3. Drain the water and cook the beans until they are soft;
  4. Separate half of the red beans;
  5. Put the rest in the blender, beat with the cooking water for 1 minute and set aside;
  6. In a pan, put the oil and sauté the onion and garlic;
  7. Add the carrots, peppers and sauté for 2 minutes;
  8. Season with salt, paprika and oregano;
  9. Sauté for another 1 minute and add the red beans separated in step 4 and the black beans;
  10. Add the tomato paste, sugar, bay leaf and beaten beans;
  11. Mix and cook for 15 minutes on low heat;
  12. Finish with mustard, chives, pepper and serve.

7. Fajitas

Ingredients

  • oil to taste
  • bacon to taste
  • 150 g smoked pepperoni sausage
  • 200 g beef, cut into strips or cubes
  • 200 g chicken breast, cut into strips or cubes
  • 1/2 red pepper in strips
  • 1/2 yellow pepper in strips
  • 1/2 green pepper in strips
  • 1 onion cut into petals
  • 1/2 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot paprika
  • 1 coffee spoon of chili pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 3 tablespoons of coriander

  1. Heat a frying pan and add a little oil;
  2. Saute bacon and pepperoni;

Ingredients

  • 5 chicken breast fillets
  • salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon sweet or smoked paprika
  • 1 coffee spoon of chili pepper
  • 1 coffee spoon of cayenne pepper
  • 1 coffee spoon of oregano
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Wheat tortillas to taste
  • 1 can of tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons of barbecue
  • grated cheese to taste

Preparation mode

  1. Season the chicken fillets with salt and pepper;
  2. In a bowl, mix the paprika, peppers, oregano and cumin;
  3. Sprinkle some of the seasoning mixture over the chicken fillets;

9. Mexican burritos

Ingredients

  • 500 g of bacon
  • 1 kg of minced meat
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 1 grated carrot
  • 2 chopped chili peppers
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 3 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 kg of bean paste
  • 1/2 bunch of parsley
  • 30 tortillas
  • 30 cherry tomatoes
  • 600 g of mozzarella
  • 300 g of cabbage

Preparation mode

  1. In a heavy-bottomed skillet, place all the bacon;
  2. Turn on the fire and brown the bacon;
  3. Add the minced meat and sauté;
  4. When it is well sautéed, add the crushed garlic;
  5. Then add the onions, carrots, peppers and tomatoes;
  6. Season with pepper and salt;
  7. Add the bean paste;
  8. Finish the stuffing with parsley;
  9. Take the tortillas and fill them with mozzarella cheese, 1 tablespoon of the filling, 1 cherry tomato cut into four parts and grated cabbage;
  10. Fold the sides over the filling and roll up like an enchilada;
  11. It will look like a bundle;
  12. Repeat the process with all the tortillas;
  13. Heat in the microwave and serve the Mexican food.

10. Mexican palettes

Ingredients

  • 1 box of clean strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon icing sugar
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 4 disposable cups of 180 ml
  • 32 disposable cups of 50 ml
  • Paper movie
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 4 disposable popsicle sticks

Preparation mode

  1. In a blender, beat the strawberries, sugar and lemon juice;
  2. Fill 1/3 of the 180 ml disposable cups with this mixture;
  3. Store leftovers in the fridge;
  4. Take the 50 ml cups and make stacks of 8 cups;
  5. Place each stack in the center of the larger glasses, where the strawberry juice is located;
  6. Press the stack of cups until it approaches the bottom of the larger cup;
  7. Cover with cling film to keep the cups fixed;
  8. Place in the freezer for 1 hour;
  9. After an hour, remove the cups from the larger cups;
