When loneliness is the best way to (re)find ourselves

Over the years, solitude takes on another taste. Because? Because as we add experiences we reach that moment in which loneliness becomes synonymous with personal, intimate and emotional space.

And yes, loneliness is addictive. Once you discover the peace that is in her, you end up needing her to cover you with her mantle periodically. You can no longer tolerate other people’s noise with such temperance and you like to get to know yourself in your world.

As time goes by, you begin to relate to loneliness without fear, to like it within yourself, to contemplate yourself and recover a balance that is very difficult to obtain in youth. At 20, society does not allow loneliness to be seen as something positive in the same way as from 30 onwards.when experiences make you collide with the need to stop and reserve your plot for yourself.

What is it about loneliness that makes us feel free?

Solitude is so attractive because it helps us keep a part of our soul to ourselves. Through it we can listen to ourselves, manage our concerns, observe our demons and manifest our desires.

Our moments alone become a meeting point that fills us and does not harm us.

But beware!!, We must not confuse chosen solitude with social isolation. We must understand it as a place to which we go by choice and with the need to build our personality through full observation.

When you choose to be alone you are not isolated. What’s more, chosen solitude helps us develop a sense of control that the fast-paced and busy adult life does not allow us to cultivate.

One, in one’s moments of solitude, is responsible for building one’s image in the mirror and knowing what is happening behind one’s gaze. We can connect with our capacity for introspection and analyze the antecedents and consequences of our conflicts, our achievements and our experiences.

Solitude gives us moments of delicious intimacy

Through an intimate encounter with ourselves we say goodbye to emotional dependence and unhealthy attachments. We work on our essence by needing us, we cultivate and work on our interior, making our needs conscious and overcoming fears.

Thus, the fear of not finding the meaning of life is reduced, because when a person begins to appreciate their moments of solitude, they understand that the meaning of life is whatever one wants to give it. No more no less.

People who like to have time alone see things differently. They know what it’s like to enjoy a day without plans, to find hours to spend time on your own, to be independent, to consider a solitary coffee as one of the greatest pleasures in life.

This helps strengthen decision-making and analysis power. It’s more, The need to be alone and the appreciation for it are two facets related to creativity and originality. This turns small details into subtleties that make a difference.

We discover ourselves through the moments that we are in contact with our deep SELF. That is what makes solitude synonymous with personal and intimate space. That is what often drives us to find and collect reasons to continue growing.

Solitude is always useful to put ourselves back together, to enter within ourselves and distribute reflection to each part of our life that we have neglected. The essence of this emotional state teaches us to share our way of being with ourselves, reserve space for ourselves and fertilize it to work deeply on what sustains us: love for oneself.
