WhatsApp will have ‘vacation mode’ and can be linked with social networks

Apparently WhatsApp updates are at full steam. According to WABetaInfo – a Twitter account specialized in disclosing the application’s renewals -, the most famous platform for chatting that chat will have two new functions: the possibility of associating it with social networks and the vacation mode.

So far, it is not known exactly how this will work in practice, but the idea is that, with the connection of whats + social networks, users will be able to recover lost passwords, in addition to automatically sharing their news from WhatsApp to Instagram without the need to work with them separately.

The assumption is that the first social network with which the conversation platform will interconnect will be Instagram.

According to the blog, the WhatsApp link with external services will happen first for the business part of the application, but the function should also cover popular user accounts soon.

Vacation Mode

If you’re a big fan of archiving conversations, this function will make your app even better. This is because currently the service of saving conversations still allows that, when receiving a new message, the chat reappears on the application’s home page. A bag, right?

Now with this new update, when the conversation is archived and put in vacation mode, notifications will not make it appear in the list of recently called contacts.
