What you can do in the shower to lose weight –

A tactic of slimming that has nothing to do with food or exercise is the dream of many people who want to lose extra fat, right? Believe me: a simple trick during the shower can be one of them.

The secret is to bet on the cold shower to speed up metabolism and thus make the body burn more fat during the day. “The low temperature stimulates thermogenesis, that is, it puts the organism to produce heat and melt the love handles”, explains Douglas Tigre, nutrologist from Rio de Janeiro. And that only happens because cold water activates, specifically, brown fat – which is the one that encourages the body to use more energy to develop its functions, turning it into a calorie-burning machine.

But don’t expect to see results overnight. To be effective, the technique needs to be put into practice on a daily basis – and combined with a balanced diet and the practice of physical activity. If you want to join, here’s the tip: stay under the shower for 15 minutes and preferably in the morning. Thus, you give your body the opportunity to burn extra calories during the day’s activities.

Just don’t abuse! If you notice that your hands are getting too white or you feel your breath failing, turn on the hot faucet.
