To you, who holds my best thoughts.

Before anything else, know that I would spend many hours of my day looking at you, hearing your voice, feeling your presence, making a thousand plans to live every day by your side. You became my first thought of the day, my last too. And in the interval between one and the other I imagine you in a thousand ways and live the joy of having found you.

You created your space inside me and you made your home in my heart. To life, which made you a gift and brought you to me, I thank you every day. My happiness now has a name and a surname.

I love to remember the way you arrived, little by little and discreetly, until I realized that you had become a light for my days. I live waiting for your presence, in the certainty that no one in this world can be a better company.

And even though it was unlikely and not considered, you became important to the point that I can no longer imagine what my life was like before you. But that no longer matters, because now we have each other and a future for both of us to build.

It is certain that our love will be a battle, but a genuine and pleasant battle. Building a life together is enough motivation to face all the difficulties that will come.

I want the world to know that I found in you the tenderest, most caring love I could have found. Love for love, pure and simple. Inexplicable, unprecedented. Maybe my words don’t know how to express exactly everything I feel. Not even the music we chose as our own would be able to.
