Protein, low-carb or very calorie-restricted menus are generally low in fiber. Therefore, sometimes the effect ends up being the opposite of what you expect from a diet: the intestine becomes lazy and the belly volume increases. The risk is hidden especially between the lines of menus that restrict fruits, legumes, vegetables and whole grains. Rich in fiber, these foods help to regulate the functioning of the organ.
HOW TO SOLVE
Does the menu only release low carb vegetables? Invest mainly in those with a generous amount of fiber. Examples*: the artichoke has 10.3 grams of these substances in an average unit; 1 cup of broccoli tea offers 5.1 grams; the same measure of Brussels sprouts contains 4.1 grams. Is enough! Also use teas, such as fennel, which, according to Vanderli, contains compounds that improve intestinal function. She recommends drinking ice cream, at least half a liter, throughout the day.
