What is the relationship between reflux and the appearance of canker sores? – GOOD SHAPE

Reflux is the regurgitation of the food content that is in the stomach, associated with the gastric juice produced for the digestion of food.

The main symptom of this is heartburn, burning, regurgitation, especially at night, when lying down and this ends up causing tooth enamel wear and thrush, which are wounds in the mouth mucosa.
So, if you sleep on a full stomach, it worsens the symptoms and the oral lesions.
