We test color protectors for sports purposes –

That sunscreen is important regardless of the time of year, we know that. But during the practice of exercises, it must be a fundamental item. Of course, we are not always in our better during exercise practice; hair stuck and a little messy, sweat and tiredness… Sometimes that desire to dress up a little more for sports can come through a protector with color! That’s why we tested sunscreens for sports purposes and let you know what we think about each one!

Shiseido HydroBB Compact for Sports

The product promotes ideal sun protection for sports and other outdoor activities, with a technology wetforce, where its UV protection veil becomes more effective when in contact with water or sweat, in addition, it has the technology quick dry that dries sweat, maintaining a fresh appearance, in addition to containing amino acid derivatives that are known to maintain moisture in the skin.

First I wanted to make it clear that the product has a wonderful smell! Seriously, I was delighted. It is super practical to apply with the sponge (which comes with the product) and has a creamy texture (it takes a little while to dry on the face). I thought the coverage was very good, my face has several pimple marks, from years with acne problems, and some dilated pores near my nose and I was surprised because (as you can see in the photo) it covered the vast majority of my imperfections, which that many bases never achieved! Also, it left a glow on the face that I loved! It’s not a “heavy” product, I felt like I wasn’t using anything on my skin, which surprised me as other tinted sunscreens I’ve used made me feel suffocated, like I had a full face of makeup to do physical exercises.

About the resistance, I thought that because it has a creamy texture it would go away, at least a little, once I started to sweat or with the use of the mask but it was completely the opposite. It didn’t transfer or run on contact with sweat at all!

It was even impressive! You can be sure that even if you sweat a lot, your protector will remain intact! In a high-intensity workout, you won’t have any problems.

Oh! And don’t forget to remove the product with make-up remover or make-up removers, see? It is extremely resistant to water (so if you want to apply a little bit on your face during one exercise and another just to refresh it, don’t be afraid! Protection and coverage will not be lost.)

Shiseido BB for Spots +50

Well, with a fluid and super light texture, the protector is very easy to spread, but it is something that needs to be done carefully and very well because it can end up being “marked” in some regions of the face. It takes a little while to dry and has a finish that leaves the skin looking dry (not in a bad way), particularly, I don’t recommend it for those with dry skin as it can end up making the dryness evident, which is what happened to me .

Your coverage is really good! However, unlike the HydroBB Compact, it leaves a more “natural” appearance, not covering 100% the imperfections as I felt with the other product, and it really looks like there is nothing on the face! I believe this is due to the fact that it is fluid. It didn’t slip on contact with sweat, but I could see that it transferred a little to the mask at the end of the exercise.

Regarding your technology quick dry I noticed that yes, it helps with the appearance of the skin but no prevents or dries sweat, but it certainly disguises the appearance of finished and completely sweaty I have at the end of an exercise session.

Adcos Mineral Mousse Sunscreen SPF 50

Developed for daily use and all skin types (including sensitive ones), it promises protection against damage caused by UVA and UVB radiation, visible light and pollution, minimizing deeper skin damage caused by infrared rays due to the antioxidant action of product.

I was surprised by this protector! I was a little worried that it was a mousse and that it might be too heavy, or that it would make my skin a bit oily, but quite the opposite! As soon as I put it on my face, it dried quickly and was super light! The coverage is wonderful and I felt that it left my skin looking like porcelain, it covered imperfections, marks and dilated pores very perfectly. (love it, seriously)

About duration, Adcos also left nothing to be desired. As it is not a specific protector for sports, I think it held up very well! It didn’t run or lose color in contact with sweat and water (I got a little rain that day on the way home) and I noticed that it transferred very little to the mask I was wearing!

Dermage photoage stick color SPF 90

The protector with toner promotes very high UVA and UVB protection, combining intense coverage and immediate concealment of imperfections, being suitable for all skin types and water resistant, suitable for use during outdoor activities

I felt that the protector has a silky finish, leaving the skin with a discreet glow and with the impression of being soft. As it is a stick and a more “firm” product, I used a sponge to spread the product so as not to end up irritating my skin.

It is really very resistant to water (I had to use makeup remover twice to get it out) and in terms of color, I had the slight impression that it oxidizes (the color gets a little darker) over time. The protector lasts a long time and has a medium hold. I used it for skating one afternoon and noticed that it transferred quite a bit to the helmet (which picks up part of my forehead) as it did to the mask.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios Hydraox

With enhanced antioxidant effectiveness, the protector promises to help preserve the skin’s collagen, with a high concentration of thermal water, vitamin E, extremely high protection against UVA rays. It also has glycerin to hydrate the skin lightly leaving the touch dry.

I was surprised with the protection that La Roche delivered in this protector. It is very fluid, easy to spread and with a wonderful smell! Its coverage is smooth, leaving the skin with a very natural appearance and a glow in the right measure. The skin is very dry, but to the touch it feels very soft, which I loved.

fun fact: In contact with water, the impression is that your face is waterproof! I know it sounds weird (I thought so too) but when I did the test and splashed some water on my face and looked in the mirror, it looked like I hadn’t done anything, the impression was that it was completely dry. And the color follows the same pattern, see? It didn’t transfer to the mask at any time or run off in contact with sweat, staying intact throughout my workout!

Ada Tina Biosole BB Cream

Promoting a dry and velvety touch with high protection against UVA and UVB solar radiation, protecting against blue light and visible light, it also reduces the appearance of spots caused by sun exposure over the years.

Because it’s a BB Cream, I was worried about the possibility of leaving my skin oily, but that didn’t happen! At first, while spreading the product I thought it would be shiny on the skin, but this disappears as the product dries on the face. It is super easy to spread too, but when doing it with my fingers I felt that I needed more care if not some parts were marked, a problem I didn’t have when using a makeup sponge. (And my face felt really soft!)

Just as the product says, it is very good at hiding small imperfections and disguising some redness on the skin (I had a horrible pimple that day which it covered well) and the coverage lasts for a long time! But it is not very resistant in contact with water, it does not lose its color with sweat, even though the product did transfer it to the mask.

Ada Tina Biosole Fluid Sun Color Defense SPF 98

With extremely high protection against UVA and UVB rays, which in addition to protecting the skin against aging and sunspots, evens out the skin tone with a natural coverage and non-greasy touch, recommended mainly for skins that are extremely sensitive to sunburn.

Ada didn’t play when she made a fluid protector! The texture is very similar to a liquid, which made me suffer a little to pass the product from the container to the skin, but it all worked out! I felt that it was maybe a little oily as it spread, which is super easy because of its texture, and I noticed that my skin was very shiny at first but as the product dried, it reduced!

Its coverage is the most natural of all the products I’ve tested for this article, it really covers small imperfections and evens out the skin tone, but it doesn’t cover 100% of the bigger marks that you might have on your skin. On the other hand, it is mega water resistant and I noticed that it transferred very little to the mask!
