we can’t be together

There is something much bigger between us than the desire to want to be together. I think we need to talk about it, or else, put it aside and see if, who knows, time helps solve it.

It’s just that both you and I know we can’t be together. Not now at least. It’s a strange business because we know there is a will, but we also know that there are other factors that influence our decision. If it was just for want, we would have already solved.

There are things that need to be fixed in both my life and yours. We know. We just don’t know if they will be right.

It’s a strange and unprecedented feeling for me to want to be with someone but to be stopped for reasons that go beyond mutual wanting., that is, if the reason was just for us to like each other, we would have already solved it, but that goes further. And maybe that’s what frustrates me so much: the existence of almost insurmountable barriers in our history.

Will this ever get better? Will we be able to get through this and remember with a laugh? Or will we just turn into another past history?

It hurts to have to think, it makes it worse not being able to act. I hate having to put answers in the responsibility of time, but I hate so many other things I have to learn to deal with that this is just one more.

We can’t be together.

Not now, not tomorrow. Not next month either. There’s no way to know if one day we’ll really stay. This is the truth.

But our distance doesn’t lessen my feeling. We can’t be together, but we want to. Time passes and transforms our will into living.
