Trust distrusting… Disappointment only comes from those we least expect.

I have a soft heart. Of those who get beaten, but don’t stop believing. A heart capable of forgiving, of letting go and always starting over. Generally, he is balanced, but I confess that I feel even more alive when he accelerates and manages to transform reason into emotion.

I didn’t know that a crush could completely change my behavior and thinking. What I’m going to tell you in this text has absolutely nothing to do with naivety. On the contrary, it is through experiences, positive or negative, that we acquire maturity. And so, like every human being, I have my flaws, slips, mistakes and successes.

As time goes on, I’m just setting priorities and honestly, finding the love of my life has become the last item on my list. It’s sad to look to the side and realize, in fact, to see with your own eyes that selfishness is predominant in love relationships.

The navel itself became the center of cowardice. Therefore, what the other feels has no value or recognition. It’s not a matter of luck or bad luck, but a lot of people looking for something, without knowing what they’re really looking for for themselves. When they find and the lack is present, everything works. But let’s face it, pushing the bar is not healthy. So, know your limits and, that way, find someone who fits and makes address in your life.

Whoever broke his face a lot, hardly follows the original factory standards. A broken heart cannot be mended. Losing trust is feeding on paranoia. Lies, when discovered, are painful truths. Omission is the antonym of transparency. Second chances are for the brave. Giving up to the lost.

Love is not a game of winners or losers. Quite the contrary, love is a safe place for the wounded. Disappointment does not kill, but it makes feelings and beliefs die. Sometimes we place the responsibility for our own happiness on someone else, but we must keep in mind that choices are renunciations. The sentence can cost a lot, invest in smiles.

Disappointments reveal to us what illusion or reality is. You learn not to be disappointed when you accept life’s surprises. When you free yourself from expectations, after all, no one will be exactly the way we want. Don’t expect consideration, recognition or others to do what you would. Don’t ask for anything in return, do it to feel good and not to impress or want attention.

Finally, understand that people don’t disappoint us, they just offer what they are, in fact, to those who accept to deserve it and conform to what they received. Disappointments are inevitable. The only thing we keep under control is the illusion that we have control over something. Free yourself from a guilty conscience and know that you will never be good enough for everyone, however, you will be perfect for that person who deserves you.

I’m pulling away from everything that slows me down, deceives me, holds me back, and holds me back. Like it or not, I’m like this: I trust the uncertain, keep hope in the improbable, bet on weaknesses. I believe in non-existent loves, in words that don’t make any sense, in attitudes that never took shape.

I fantasize things in my head, illusions and more illusions, with the intention of escaping the reality that destroys me, more and more, every day. I understood, then, that replacing people who have already replaced me is a form of caution, never to disappoint someone who would do anything for me. After all, that would be the biggest stupidity: finding someone worth it, and losing for not knowing how to make the right decisions.

When I started writing, I stated that finding someone was not in my priorities. But now I realize that, no matter what, in the unforeseen, ups and downs I went through to get here, I never stopped believing in love and its infinite benefits.
