This fitness ballet move tones your legs in no time –

Inspired by the classic version of dance, fitness ballet tones the buttocks and abdomen without the use of weights “The movements work the entire length of the fiber, which ensures a more elongated musculature”, explains physical educator Betina Dantas, creator of the method.

In the following exercise, maintaining the isometry of the inside leg and the feet turned out makes even more demands on the glutes and quadriceps. Try it!

A. On your side, rest your hand on the bar and bring your feet together in fifth position (heel resting halfway on the side of the other foot). Bend your knees, pointing outwards, and contract your abs, curling them towards the bar.

B. Raise your torso and twist in the opposite diagonal as you raise your arm toward the ceiling and extend your outside leg in front of you with your foot pointed. 3 sets of 15 repetitions (each side).
