This bride celebrated black beauty at her wedding

Gone are the days when having straight hair was almost mandatory for women (thankfully!). And this is also true in bridal looks. If before the ~normal~ way to go down the aisle was to keep your hair straight, tied up or at most with a few waves or curly curls, nowadays the coolest thing is to value the unique beauty of each one.

Nigerian makeup artist Gladys Irokah knows this all too well. After doing makeup and beauty care for so many brides in Nigeria, when her own wedding day arrived, she had no doubts: she wore her natural hair texture to the altar!

Plus, she surrounded herself with a squadron of gorgeous bridesmaids, all of whom also had their curly hair proudly displayed.
