There is a story behind each person, thoughts behind their expressions, emotions behind their feelings and a soul under their skin.

Each one of us, along this path that is life, goes through moments, lives experiences and meets people, who will inevitably leave a mark on some part of us. Even those circumstances or people that we thought would go unnoticed seem to resurface later in some way in our lives.

We are made of nuances

Everything that happens colors our experience and our feelings. in any way, sometimes intensely and other times just in passing; sometimes consciously and other times without realizing it… they give us lights and shadows, and also half tones…

We will only understand it from our vision, which is nothing more than that which is made up of our experiences and experiences, but What do we know about the other? What do we know about their feelings?

If it is already difficult to delve into the depths of oneself and try to know oneself, How are we going to know what the intentions or motivations of others are, or how that person is experiencing that situation. We spend half our lives trying to figure them out, and almost the other half judging their behavior, as if we weren’t enough to take charge of ourselves.

Judging from our reality is useless

Each person has their story and shows sensitivity towards some aspects more than others; Like you and me. Just because it is easy or simple for us to face a situation or express ourselves in a certain way, does not mean that it has to be that way for others…

“If I were María, I would rest more…”, “I don’t understand how Raúl doesn’t leave his partner, I wouldn’t stand it,” “I would be incapable of leading a life like Cristina…”

Maybe that person had a mother who constantly reproached them and for whom nothing was ever enough and that is why they need to do everything perfectly, feeling that they can always improve… or perhaps, they had a relationship full of criticism towards them. and now, it is impossible for him to make himself seen or show himself as he is…

Another may have desired the absent affection of her parents so much that she has become a constant seeker of love and affection, or on the contrary is reluctant to receive it…

It is normal that if we were in other people’s situations, we would do different things… We are not them, nor have we lived their lives. We only know a little about how to live ours. And I say a little because, Sometimes, we believe that we are going to react in a certain way and when we find ourselves in the situation, we behave in a different way….

Instead of judging him, try to understand his story

We must see beyond the obvious and the surface and take into account that each person has their story; a compendium of experiences, feelings, emotions, encounters, of biological and personal variables, to which we have to add the power of the situation and context.

We are no one to do it and not even in a conversation can we convey all of a person’s feelings; sometimes because the right words cannot be found, sometimes because by assigning words we are already limiting the experience…

On the contrary, Listening and taking into account the stories, experiences and feelings with which people have been built will help us understand them. And sometimes, if we can’t do it, nothing happens, perhaps our own situation makes it impossible at those times.

Just remember that Behind every skin there is a person, a strong but also sensitive soul that has its wounds and scars, that has its story.
