Carlos Castañeda is a writer and anthropologist known for his autobiographical accounts of the teachings he received from Don Juan Matus, an Indian from the Yaqui tribe, in the Mexican desert.

In her first book, the worldwide bestseller The Devil’s Weed, Don Juan claims that the above question is essential to become truly strong. By the way, the question is extremely strong.

That’s where taking a shortcut can be the right measure. Start by acknowledging that the chosen road really wasn’t the one you imagined.

Afterwards, look for the closest return for yourself, understanding that every decision you make helps you grow and get to know different landscapes in an unusual way.

Leave certainties aside for a moment and focus on the direction you take. Are you happy? Do you already see the desired result? If not, why don’t you try some more?

There is no merit without effort. And no one takes away from you the experience of the various realities, sad and happy, that dance before your eyes.
