The best way to apologize is not to repeat the same mistakes again.

It is very difficult to face the disappointments we have in relation to the people we care about, since we tend to put our trust in them and share with them our best and our worst, in the hope that nothing less than truth and transparency will return to us. . And so, we often end up frustrated, because our expectations are not always met.

Perhaps our biggest mistake is that we innocently think that others will act like us, as if people’s hearts were the same as ours. With this, we increase the probability of receiving from them what we least expected, feeling betrayed and devalued.

We cannot accept everything that comes and anyway, in the name of love, relegating our feelings to the background. No one should act without thinking about who walks by their side, because no one lives totally isolated. Therefore, it is necessary that we are attentive to others, without losing sight of them, as this is how we perceive the moments when we hurt other people’s feelings, in order to try to apologize.

It’s no use someone apologizing to us, giving gifts, sending messages, making promises that it will never happen again, if you continue to act in the same way and return to the same mistakes, there the next day. Those who truly repent begin to act differently, assume the mistake and avoid hurting those who hurt again. This is the demonstration that someone really cares.

Many do not give up anything, do not reflect on their attitudes, do not rethink their own lives, because they are so lost within themselves, deluded by the convenience of their selfishness. They make mistakes, they apologize but they don’t change their behavior. These will never have the opportunity to receive someone’s forgiveness, because they think they are perfect. These do not deserve our love, our truths, our effort or our dedication.
