Something invisible caresses my hair

We arrive at another Friday at the Paranormal Clinic of , this time with a type of experience that frequently arrives in our email: the feeling that something invisible caresses your hair (see: When something invisible touches you)

***

I’m not even sure how I should begin to explain what’s happening to me. I’ve read some creepy experiences in , and mine feels a little silly, even childish, in comparison. Anyway, it started last year.

I’ve been going back and forth between my mother’s house and my father’s house since they separated. Nothing serious, I guess. Some weeks here and others there. Luckily, they both live in the same city. The problem, in any case, consists of the room I occupy in my father’s house. Since I started sleeping there I have never felt alone (see: Feeling “presences” when you are alone)

At first I just experienced this uncomfortable feeling when I entered the room, like when you walk into the doctor’s waiting room and there are people waiting there. I mean, it felt like the space was occupied by someone else (see: Spirits and “charged environments”), I can’t think of any other way to define it.

Eventually I started waking up at night to the feeling of something brushing my hair (see: When Something Invisible Touches Your Back). Sometimes the sensation was soft, even delicate, as if my hair was being combed, and other times quite strong; although not enough to hurt me. They are more like little tugs on the hair (see: Can spirits touch you?)

Obviously I tried to rule out logical explanations, like my hair getting tangled in the headboard or something. But the feeling had nothing to do with that. I was still, sleeping, and I woke up abruptly when I felt someone pulling my hair (see: There is an entity in my room)

I’m usually a very deep sleeper. So much so that waking up has always been a problem for my parents. They just gave up most of the time. That’s why the situation worried me. I mean, the hair pulling must have been intense, at the very least, to wake me up (see: Something is pulling my feet in bed).

Anyway, after a couple of weeks of staying at my dad’s house, my older sister moved in with us. She and I got to share a room for a while, which was great. I felt a sense of security with her the entire time we shared the space, which was only for about a month. During that time nothing strange happened.

But eventually she left, and the hair-pulling continued. Furthermore, I began to feel strange things before each event. For example, I randomly wake up feeling extremely hot, terrified, and refuse to open my eyes for fear of seeing someone, or something, and I feel like there is a presence around me (see: Apparitional experience: when we feel like we are not there). alone)

I ended up telling my sister about this and she told me that she always felt my room was a little creepy, and that’s why she didn’t like sleeping there. She felt uncomfortable, as if there was someone constantly behind her (see: I feel like there is someone behind me). Additionally, she said that she always felt a rush of cold air in the room no matter the temperature outside (see: “Cold Spots” and ghosts).

Strange things are constantly happening in this room, and the events have been increasing. Sometimes you just hear strange noises (see: Something knocks on my bedroom door), or shadows that appear out of the corner of your eye (see: Seeing ghosts out of the corner of your eye). I try to ignore them, and they almost always stop.

I remember a couple of months ago, while I was sleeping, I felt this annoying tapping on my shoulder. This is something my sister used to do to wake me up when she was younger. It’s one of the few things that wakes me up because she does it aggressively and it bothers me a lot. I thought it was her, so I didn’t pay much attention to her. Then I felt a pretty strong tug on my hair, enough for her to wake me up with every intention of throwing something at my sister. She wasn’t at home (see: Something invisible got into bed with me)

Could it be that this entity, spirit, or whatever, had the ability to imitate my sister? (see: A spirit is trying to communicate with me)

I’m not sure exactly what’s going on, but I’d love to know. I can honestly say that, as strange as these occurrences are, none of them really felt bad. I mean, it worries me, but I don’t feel like it’s something that’s chasing me, but rather something that’s trying to interact with me.

The strangest incident happened a few days ago, when I had just finished putting on my makeup and sat on the bed to take a couple of selfies. Out of nowhere I felt this strange presence, like something was right in front of me, standing there. I ignored it, but I felt it getting closer. I stopped taking pictures and just looked into the air. I felt like I was looking at something, and that something was moving like a person, but I couldn’t see it (see: The man at the foot of my bed)

After a few minutes, I felt the presence withdraw. Suddenly it was as if an unbearable tension left the room. I was so scared that I just walked out of there and went to sit with my dad in the living room. I’m not sure why, but I felt like the presence was an old woman (see: Feeling like there’s a spirit in the house)

One time, my best friend stayed the night. We slept in the same bed, and the next day she told me that she felt something touching her head, pulling her hair. Even when she covered her head with the blanket she felt that he was still touching her (see: I can’t sleep without covering my ears!). I clarify that I never told my friend anything about all this.

It’s strange how one comes to live with paranormal things. In some ways, I think I’ve come to understand some of my ghost’s behavior. For some reason she is obsessed with my hair. Hair petting happens when I sleep with my hair down, and hair pulling happens when I wear it up. Could this mean something besides she obviously wants her hair down?

The last incident that comes to mind occurred with me with my father. We were sitting in the living room, watching TV, when we heard footsteps behind us. The footsteps walked around the couch and stopped in front of us. My father and I looked at each other in silence. It really felt like there was something in front of us, but neither of us dared to say anything and the feeling suddenly disappeared.

Well, this is my experience. I’m sorry for not giving it a more elegant closure, but the truth is that it is still developing.
