Not everything that is good is expensive, not everything that is good is complicated. Sleeping with a spoon is one of those silly things that make us wake up looking like a child who has just received candy, or like a puppy when we find its owner again after a week. Only those who have slept with a spoon will understand what I’m talking about. One of the simplest and most comforting sensations in the world.

Cuddling is good anyway. Having someone there, next to us, clinging to us, especially on winter nights. My blanket forgive me, but I still prefer good old-fashioned human warmth. It’s a ritual, lying down, hugging, squeezing another crucible. It’s too much love.
