Put it in the fridge or not? That’s the question most of us ask about various foods or leftovers from meals. Don’t be embarrassed – having doubts about this is normal. Here’s a helpful guide on where food should be stored:

1. Peanut butter (processed): room temperature
Generally, the folders we buy in the market are processed to have a long shelf life even after opening. The additives used to stabilize the products are approved by ANVISA, so it’s safe to consume!

2. Peanut butter (natural): refrigerator
The natural version is peanut butter made only with ground peanuts. Refrigeration is best, as natural oils can become rancid and spoil when left out at room temperature for weeks.

3. Coconut oil: fridge
All oil can become rancid when stored at room temperature for too long. To ensure freshness, store in the refrigerator.

4. Coffee beans: room temperature
If you’re looking for the perfect flavor and aroma in your mornings, keep your beans at room temperature. They can pick up moisture in the fridge – and compromise the flavor (but don’t change the caffeine content).
