Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra reveal photos from the multi-day ceremony

Last week the singer Nick Jonas and the actress Priyanka Chopra exchanged rings in a ceremony that lasted several days, mixing Indian tradition with some elements of Christian culture. Photos of the grandiose celebration were released exclusively this Tuesday (4/12) by People magazine.

For the Christian ceremony, Priyanka wore a white dress Ralph Lauren🇧🇷 Romantic, the piece combined classic elements, such as long sleeves, collar, pearls and lots of lace to a smooth transparency. “Ralph has only designed three wedding dresses in 50 years – one for his daughter, one for his daughter-in-law and one for his niece,” the bride told the publication.

The embroideries that decorate the piece took 1,826 hours to make. One of the highlights of the model was the 22 meters long veil.

To honor loved ones, Priyanka wanted the dress to have words and phrases sewn in, such as Nick’s full name, the wedding date and the names of her parents. On the lapel of his tuxedo, the groom had a small piece of lace from his wife’s dress on which was written “My Jaan”, an expression in Urdu that means “My Life”.

For the ceremony according to Indian tradition, Priyanka opted for a traditional costume signed by stylist Sabyasachi.

Following the Indian tradition that weddings last from 3 to 7 days, the couple started the party last Thursday with Sangeet, a ritual that precedes the official wedding ceremony, at Umaid Bhawan Palace, in the city of Jodhpur, in the Rajasthan, India.
