Mom photographs her autistic son’s best moments

Kate Miller Wilson is a photographer and mother of two, one of whom has been diagnosed with autism. Autism is a neurological disorder characterized by impaired social interaction, verbal and non-verbal communication, and restricted, repetitive behavior.

The photographer managed through her lens to capture the sweetest moment of a child in this photographic project and shows the way he sees the world.

In some of the photographs he is looking directly at his mother, something he does not usually do when he is not being photographed.

The Minneapolis/USA photographer gained fame for the project and is inspiring many other moms who face the same struggles every day. Now I leave you a little bit of the look of a mother who managed to capture all the essence of her son with this wonderful project.
