Men with beards or straight: what do women prefer?

The beard, this pile of hair, as well as many others in the human body, is something to talk about. It is the subject of heated debates, well-defined preferences and even campaigns for or against a certain style.

But the conclusion is that he has a taste for everything and it is not possible to define whether women love or hate the beard: nowadays, opinions are divided, preferences change and it seems that what really matters are the other attributes of the young man: the beard turns out to be important only in a first visual impression.

It is not by chance that we realize that most of the great thinkers, scientists, leaders and researchers sport or have sported a beard throughout their lives. It remains to be seen whether due to lack of time or the requirement for a formal job, or due to an aesthetic preference. Maybe that’s why growing a beard is linked to intellectuality and maturity.

Bearded people have many options to choose from: goatee, mustache, sideburns and a wide range of possibilities for models and designs, or even creating an exclusive style. Each of these choices has the power to print an image to the user.

But it’s also not good for any poorly groomed and uncontrolled beard. The preference for bearded people is commonly accompanied by the caveat that the beard has to be well cared for and trimmed.

On the other hand, those who prefer to be clean-shaven and with a smooth face usually gain the reputation of being more clean and well-groomed. This statement is very likely to be valid, if we take into account that, in order to maintain a smooth and hairless face, it is necessary to invest practically daily in order to obtain a good result. Beards grow quickly and shaving with razors often causes cuts and damage to the skin.

Another very influential factor in the preference for the smooth face is that it gives men a more youthful appearance. The clean-shaven face conveys an idea of practicality, cleanliness, of active men who are concerned with their image.
