Meet Cristiane, the top scorer of the Women’s World Cup

It was thanks to her that we shouted “GOL” three times in Brazil’s debut against Jamaica in Women’s Football World Cup🇧🇷 cristiane Roseira de Souza Silva, or simply “Cristiane”, scored with a header, a tackle and a free kick, showing that he has a star and a lot of talent. Our scorer!

Born in osasco in 1985, she is currently a player for São Paulo, but has played for teams in Germany, France and China throughout her career. In the 2016 Olympics she scored 14 goals and became the top scorer in soccer at the Olympic Games – and that’s between men and women, okay?

And if everybody when they think about Brazilian soccer team thinks – quite rightly – of the Marta, best in the world six times, know that Cristiane has already come very close to this award twice. In 2007 and 2008, she was in third place (and who won was herself, Marta).

If “alone” she killed this much, just imagine how it will be when Cristiane shares the field with Marta, in Brazil’s next games in this Cup?
