Makeup for New Year’s Eve: tips to start the New Year radiant

1. Make the skin even

The occasion calls for a lot of brightness and light! To leave the skin looking healthy and even, apply a liquid foundation all over the face, moving from the inside out. On the neck from top to bottom, halfway up. Control the shine of the skin with the face powder, which should be applied all over the face, neck and décolleté. A great choice for skin covering products are minerals, which, in addition to smoothing the skin smoothly, offer a nuanced effect as they are powdered. Because of the heat, it’s important to use primer before makeup, don’t forget!

2. Fill in the eyebrows

With a waterproof eyebrow pencil, better define the shape or correct any flaws. The choice of pencil color should be the same as the hair color. Brush and set the eyebrows with a colorless mascara.

3. Go for the shine

In the shadows, the sparkles of the glitters will be with everything, not only on this occasion but throughout the summer. Choose shadows that offer bright particles, leaving the darkest tone for the outer corner and the light tone for the inner corner of the eyes. Abuse the illuminator, which can now also be used as a “point of light”, going around the tear duct. Remember that the eyes should be well smoky, without leaving them marked. After all, who doesn’t want to be in fashion?

4. Bet on the eyeliner

If you opt for a simpler look, but also luxurious, bet on the more marked eyeliner, leaving the line on the outer side of the eyelid wider than on the inner side. In this case, you can leave the shadows aside and complete the production with a glitter in the corner of the eyes. This product should be applied delicately with the applicator brush, which is a sponge. Leave more in the inner corners of the eyelids. For fair skin, silver glitters look much better than gold ones, which value dark skin tones.

5. Finish with mascara

Finish the eyes with the black or even colored mascara. Why not? Line the roots of the lashes (both lower and upper) with the waterproof eye pencil.

6. Use blush to bring your skin to life

Blushes are welcome this season because, in addition to lifting the cheekbones, they also bring a healthy summer tone. Keep in mind that for light skin tones, pink tones look best, while for dark and dark skin tones of brown and terracotta are the best choices. The real sensation is in the bronze effect powders to bring a light gold to the makeup for New Year’s Eve. Also use it as a blush, it looks beautiful.

7. Enhance the lips

The glitter gloss also adds light and sparkle to New Year’s makeup. Choose the color you like the most and abuse the product. But be careful: if you invest in glitter for the eyes, prefer a creamy or matte lipstick to harmonize all the makeup.
