Learn how 9 super famous magic tricks work

in season 8 of Britain’s Got Talent, Canadian illusionist Darcy Oake stunned audiences by performing various magic tricks with doves. In one of them, the magician makes doves with burnt feathers appear.

In this trick, the illusionist asks the audience to randomly choose a card from the deck and put it back. Then he makes a few moves and the card comes out of the deck. What’s the secret here?

When placing the card back in the deck, the magician places it in front of a special mechanism with a small pad that moves the card up. Or the card, slightly folded, is supported in the hand, being able to rise in relation to the rest of the deck.

The illusionist picks up a card and causes a can to land on top of it. This act may seem impossible, but it is one of the easiest tricks out there.

When you look closer, you will see that the card is shaped like a T. You can make such a card at home with two regular cards, gluing them together. That way, it’s much easier to get a can or bottle to rest on top of the letter.

The famous trick is as follows: a magician holds a plastic bottle or any other container in his hands. He shows everyone that it’s an empty bottle and lets someone else prove it. So the magician asks for someone’s cell phone. 1, 2 and 3: the cell phone goes through the wall of the bottle and ends up inside it. How does this happen?

There are several ways to put this trick into practice. In the most common, the magician uses a special thimble and a very sharp stiletto. After showing the audience that the bottle is whole, he secretly cuts through where the cell phone will go. In other words, there is no magic, just a beautiful game with the hands.

The famous magician Dynamo performed this trick on the street and left people speechless. He took one of the people’s iPhone and magically rotated its center, leaving the screen to one side and the back to the other. How is this possible?

Very simple. He prepared half an iPhone and quickly placed it on the screen of the cell phone used in the trick. When Dynamo presents the iPhone to people, it shows it with the back. Then, covering the device with both hands, it rotates completely and shows the side of the screen with the back half on top of it. The cell phone appears to be folded, but is intact.

Another famous magician Britain’s Got Talent It’s Jamie Raven. In his latest trick, he made a note appear signed by British singer Alesha Dixon inside a lemon he cut in front of the judges and the audience. How did you do it?

When Alesha signs the note, Jamie folds it and shows it to the public. As he folds, he has a piece of paper in his hands. Now, with the signed note still in his hand, he picks up Alesha’s purse and shoves the note inside the bag. He puts it inside the lemon and takes it out, showing the audience just one side. When Alesha takes the note out, he quickly takes the lemon so he doesn’t show that there was a hole in it where the note was placed.

An illusionist pours some liquid into a cup, and a moment later, it turns into an ice cube.

The trick is in the cup, which already contains a piece of ice along with a sponge the same color as the cup itself. The sponge is fixed to the bottom and, of course, absorbs water. So when the magician turns the cup upside down, the ice falls into his hand and the water remains in the sponge.

There is a wall in the scenery that looks very real. A magician approaches from one side and the assistants hide him with special screens on wheels. A few seconds later, he appears on the other side.

Even though it looks like otherworldly magic, the trick is easy. It is a play of lights. The magician is hidden behind the screens and appears on the other side.

David Copperfield is one of the most well-known magicians in the world. One of his favorite tricks was cutting with the chainsaw.

To perform this illusion, he used an assistant to be his lower body. The secret is in the board underneath and the small space between the boards so the saw can pass through easily. Copperfield’s legs were bent under the table and the assistant’s upper body was hidden under the table.
