When we think of tattoo, we imagine images or phrases that we want to immortalize in our own skin. But what if, from now on, we could also mark sound on bodies?
It was the tattoo artist’s girlfriend Nate Siggardgives Soundwave Tattoos, in Los Angeles, who had this brilliant idea. “I had tattooed some friends with sound waves”, says Nate in an interview with the Insider website, “and my girlfriend, Juliana, said: ‘wouldn’t it be amazing if we could play this sound?’”.

Together they created the app Skin Motion, who can read tattoos with the design of these sound waves. With that, it is now possible to immortalize not only phrases, but also specific people saying those phrases.
Or, as it was with the girl in the video below, immortalize the barking of our dogs. Can you believe?
