There should be no room in our life for unnecessary storage. I’ve been keeping a lot of bad stuff in my memories, but that’s about to change. I was never good at goodbyes. Waiting is what I’m best at. But this time, I’m slowly learning to say goodbye to everything that doesn’t do me good.

I’m learning to say goodbye to people who don’t offer any kind of quality about who I am as a person.

I’m saying goodbye the doubters, the pessimists, the selfish, the arrogant, the lazy and the deceitful.

I’m saying goodbye to those who broke my heart and didn’t even look back to see where the pieces fell.

I’m saying goodbye to those who planted doubts in my mind because all they had to offer was their own insecurities.

It’s time to say goodbye.

I’m learning to say goodbye to the negative perspectives I’ve held onto for a long time.

I’m letting go of those damn phrases: “I’m not good enough, I’m not smart enough, I didn’t come from the right place, I don’t have enough money, others always do better than me. My circumstances are as flexible as I am and I’m ready to start changing.

I’m saying goodbye to the invisible anchors that weigh me down, because all I needed to do was let go.

I’m learning to say goodbye to a lifestyle that has always kept me in my comfort zone. I’m ready to say goodbye to the familiar and safe so I can make room for the extraordinary and exciting.

I’m learning to say goodbye to bad habits and limiting beliefs. To say goodbye to anything and everything that is holding me back from living the life I want, which is the only life I’ll ever deserve by actively pursuing it. I can’t actively pursue anything when my hands and heart are full of outdated crap.

I’m ready to face the discomfort, because I know it means the old is being broken down to make room for the new to be built on.

I’m learning to say goodbye to who I was, someone who held on to all the wrong things because I was afraid.

I’m tired of being afraid!

Our time is too short — and too expensive — to spend on what only hurts us. It’s time to be happy, which means saying goodbye to everything that isn’t true.
