I won’t ask you to stay anymore

You’re gone, it seems like you’re really gone, leaving only longings and a lot of promise of a perfect future by your side, a future in which I’ll spend nights and nights tossing and turning in the solitude of my bed imagining how beautiful this future would be, how it would be beautiful to wake up next to you every day, and admire your beauty from every possible angle, to think about how lucky I am to have you by my side, to think mainly about how to make your life happier and happier, because if you’re happy it’s more than sure that I’m happy too.

But you’re gone, we know very well why you’re gone, we know very well that we didn’t do enough for this beautiful romance to continue, we didn’t know how to lean on each other to face our problems, our differences, I wasn’t brave enough for you ask to stay, in fact I even asked you to stay, but I’m too proud to insist, and you’re too proud to go back on your choices.

But you’re gone, I’m not mad at you, much less upset, I’m just sad for us, but all I want most is for you to be happy, all I want most is to be happy, we’re young, we’ve got a lot to to live, a lot to learn, a lot to mature and a lot to disappoint us, thinking better until it will be good to distance ourselves, it will be good to “Redo again”.

Yeah, it looks like you’re really gone, I didn’t think this would happen, but I’ve learned from my mistakes, I won’t ask you to stay, stay if you can, stay if you want, stay if our love is enough, but if nothing else That’s enough, go without looking back, without thinking twice.

Maybe we’ll bump into each other again, with a more mature look, a more decided mind and a more open heart, so go, take a piece of me with you, but take good care of this piece because it’s the only key back that you have. You can go, I won’t ask you to stay, because “The more we run after the butterfly, the more it runs away. But one hour you will be distracted enjoying life, out of nowhere it will land on her shoulder”so go.
