How to use the NuvaRing

The vaginal ring comes off and is out for more than three hours: wash the ring and put it back on, use a condom to ensure protection for the next 7 days. You have left the ring for 4 weeks without removing it when appropriate: after 3 weeks of use the ring begins to lose its properties, if you have left it for 4 weeks remove the ring, wait a week without using it and, after the week, insert a new ring. You have left the ring for more than 4 weeks without removing it: in this case you must rule out pregnancy beforehand.
