How to live a life with purpose? – GOOD SHAPE

Would you like to live your days intensely, deliberately, with purpose and enjoying the present moment? Today’s text is about that!

Last week, I introduced you to the model SPIRE comprehensive well-being, Wholebeing Institute and, starting today, I will explain each dimension (spiritual, physical, intellectual, relational It is emotional), deeply, for you to find different ways to apply it in your life!

The first letter, the S is correlated to the spiritual, which is about leading a life with purpose and be able to enjoy the moment gift.

Stop to reflect:

– How many times have you felt lost and aimless?

– How many times have you felt anxiety about something that hasn’t even happened yet?

This dimension helps us to deal better with these two points, bringing many benefits to our physical and mental health!

I realized, in myself, that when my spiritual dimension is left aside, all the others are also affected. In my life, I have understood that when I am not in touch with my purpose and living my days, the way I believe is the best for me, I can’t take care of my physical, intellectual, relational or emotional and everything ends up falling apart! It’s as if all those little plates that I’m trying to take spinning, simultaneously, fall to the floor, simply because I walked away from this greater meaning of life and then, I feel completely lost!

After becoming aware of this, I was able to implement little habits that make me remain with a good level of functioning in that dimension. And they are:

Taking small breaks in my day.
Breathe deeply and consciously.
Make positive affirmations before getting out of bed.
Meditate for at least 10 minutes in the morning.
Write my feelings in a notebook.
Having a dream board in front of my bed, so every day when I wake up, I see the things that motivate me to live my life.
Realize what were the good things about my day, before bed. This way I manage to make a positive assessment and not let myself be carried away by the small problems that may have occurred.
Think of at least 5 things I am grateful for.

It may seem like a lot, but they are extremely fast and generate incredible well-being! When I apply them, I can live my day more lightly and the chance of me stressing a lot or getting anxious drops dramatically! So, I come here to invite you to implement some of these practices in your life too, and then tell me how it was for you!

In the coming weeks, the texts will have special guest appearances by people I admire a lot, telling how the other dimensions are so important to them, just as the spiritual is to me!
